Alaska Railroad – The new Fairbanks depot and inter-modal facility will open its doors in time for the summer season. The new facility will feature a state-of-the-art train depot, additional bus parking and safe transfer areas to ensure the smooth movement of passengers. The Alaska Railroad is also rolling out two new double-deck luxury dome cars featuring exclusive GoldStar Service and incomparable views of the Great Land. GoldStar Service includes a confirmed seat in the new luxury cars, complimentary appetizers, and access to a private outdoor viewing platform reserved exclusively for Gold Star guests.
