Casas & Suites:

Its exclusive 38 Suites are distributed in five independent “Casas Patagonicas” conceived with a private living room and 6 to 10 Suites per House, keeping the Patagonian “Casa de Campo” style that makes LOS SAUCES unique.  

Every Suite has its own name, color and décor making them each different; guests may enjoy Caprichos, Tango, Calafate, Tehuelche or Margarita Suites.  Suites are provided with world class details such as incense floors, barracan knitted upholstery, Patagonian porfido walls and genuine leather as if they were the bedrooms of an authentic Patagonian farm.  Paintings by famous contemporary Argentine artists, furniture and objects carefully chosen complete the decoration.  Wi-fi Internet access, security box, mini-bar, LCD TV 42’ and hydro bath tub are featured in all of them.

Dining:

LA COMARCA offers a delicious gourmet experience discovering the flavors of the End of the World, its elaborate menu invites to enjoy suckling Patagonian lamb or the tasty products from freezing and deep southern seas, fueguine spider crab and southern hake.  Full Patagonian buffet breakfast is offered to start the day, Gourmet Picnics to enjoy in the Excursions and a la carte menu for lunches anddinners.  LA COMARCA Cellar privileges Patagonian brands elaborated at 39 degrees south latitude, offering a wide selection of Pinot Noir, Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from the most southern vineyards in Argentina.  Guests may also enjoy a selection of tea, coffee and drinks in the private living room of the Casas or in the intimacy of the Suites.

Spa:

The Casa LAS PIEDRAS SPA, totally made up in stone, has an octagonal design with a central cascade with a skylight in the roof to enjoy the natural clear Patagonian light.  Each edge in the octagon accommodates 2 cabinets for body and facial treatments, Saunas, Scottish shower, Whirlpool Room – 2 indoors and 1 outdoor – and a state-of-the-art Gym.  Our SPA Menu offers Stendhal Pure Luxe and Zirh products for body and facial treatments and lists full body energizing or relaxing massages including an outstanding massage using hot Patagonian stones.

Club House:

With breathtaking views to Lake Argentino it is the venue to enjoy a comfortable living area with a fully equipped Library and Playroom together with a display of Argentine art.  Club House also houses a Meeting Room which holds up to 90 people for meetings, incentives or social events and for special lectures organized by our Site Hosts team about Glaciology, History of Patagonia, LA COMARCA Gourmet experience as part of indoor activities.

Patagonian Experiences:

PROGRAMA LOS SAUCES allow you to live and discover El Calafate and its famous Glaciers living Patagonian Experiences designed and guided by LOS SAUCES Site Host team:  at the time of check-in, guests will be informed of the activities schedule available during their stay.  Following are some examples of activities that might be organized:

• Visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier accompanied by a Site Host
• Trekking on the Perito Moreno Glacier:  Mini trekking (maximum age allowed 65 years) or Big Ice (maximum age allowed 45 years).  (Does not operate in winter time.)
• Sailing facing the Perito Moreno Glacier (1-hour long)
• Sailing to Upsala, Onelli, Spegazzini Glaciers (“TODO GLACIARES Excursion) only for 3 night minimum stays.
• Active Experiences:  4×4, Trekking Experiences, Mountain Bike, Horseback riding
