Llao Llao Hotel & Resort Golf – SPA
Located in a national park in the Argentine Patagonia, Llao Llao Hotel & Resort Golf – SPA is perched on a small hill between lakes Nahuel Huapi and Moreno, framed by lakes, woods and the Andean peaks. This magnificent hotel is considered an architectural masterpiece for its setting, design and the harmonic integration with its natural surroundings. It was built by architect Alejandro Bustillo in 1938 and fully renewed in 2003. A Canadian-style building with Norman roof tiles and visible cypress logs blending with the region’s green stone, the Llao Llao Hotel & Resort, Golf – Spa is an attraction that should not be missed when visiting Argentina. The hotel is 22 miles from the San Carlos de Bariloche Airport; 17 miles from the renowned ski center Cerro Catedral and 1,000 miles from Buenos Aires – a 2-hour flight.
The Hotel features 168 double rooms, 32 suites and 1 cabin – 43 brand new spacious studios and suites with spectacular views of Moreno Lake and Mt. Tronador among them. All rooms and suites have telephone, cable TV, safety box, laundry and valet services. Some suites have a fireplace and balcony. Rooms have mountain, garden or lake views. The 43 new deluxe rooms are located in the recentlyinaugurated Moreno Lake Wing, featuring air conditioning, compartmentalized bathroom, Jacuzzi, and wide windows and terraces with panoramic views of the surrounding Patagonian landscape. All suites in this room have fireplace.
Dining facilities include the elegant Los Césares, a formal restaurant offering sophisticated international and regional cuisine. Cafe Restaurant Patagonia, a casual restaurant ideal for families serves simple but delicious dishes. The cozy Lobby Bar with its two huge fireplaces offer a wide variety of cocktails, sandwiches and simple meals. Every evening the Happy Hour is served here. The Moreno Lake Lounge located in the new Wing also serves cocktails, sandwiches and snacks. The Winter Garden is a very good place to enjoy a drink, salad or regional cakes, featuring superb views of Lake Nahuel Huapi, Puerto Pañuelo and the hotel park. The Club House at the golf course is the perfect place to have the delicious Llao Llao Tea while contemplating the astonishing surrounding landscape.
Llao Llao Spa – proud member of The Leading Spas – has eight glazed cabinets with striking panoramic views. It’s well trained staff offers a wide variety of personalized treatments and programs. The spa also has a nutritionist on premises available for all guests.
The professional 18-hole golf course – open all year round – is unique in its kind. Framed by lakes and centennial trees, its fairways, greens and bunkers are perfectly blended with the beautiful natural scenery.
The hotel also features an indoor/outdoor heated infinity swimming pool, a whirlpool, sauna facilities and a Health Club & Fitness Center. It offers a wide variety of indoor and outdoor programmed activities, tango and salsa dancing classes, and different kinds of excursions.
During the winter season (July and August) the hotel provides ski lovers with a free shuttle service to its exclusive Lodge at Mount Catedral with ski gear rental and storage. For kids aged 3 to 12, Nahuelitos Kid’s Club provides amusing recreational activities and for babies, babysitting services are available at Ayehue Baby Care.
