Assam

Located in the far northeast section of India, bordered by Bhutan and Bangladesh, this state has an abundance of beautiful scenery and interesting cultural attractions, including the Manus National Park and the Kaziranga National Park. If you are a wildlife lover you will be delighted to see the endangered One Horn Rhinoceroses, the beautiful Bengal Tigers, elephants, water buffalo and swamp deer here.

Dispur is the Capital City in Assam. This state is known worldwide for its great tea production. There is a lot of rain here with numerous lakes and rivers.

The Kaziranga National Park is a great place to get incredible wildlife photos and video of some of the rarest animals on earth.

The Manas National Park is also a wonderful place to visit and see all the tigers, water buffalo and elephants that roam the area.

There are many important temples in this region that go back for centuries.

River cruises on the Brahmaputra River are one of the best tourism attractions in Assam.
