Fishermen work the seas and spread their fishing nets on the beaches, making scenic photos a delight here.

Eco Tourism is gaining popularity in Kerela, especially in the backwaters areas where the tropical vegetation is lush and filled with birds and exotic animals.

The heritage sites are also very interesting. The Padmanabhapuram Palace and the Mattancherry Palace are very interesting, archaeologically and historically. The festivals are fun and a great place to see the highly adorned elephants. Culturally there is a lot going on here.
