Day 2: Barcelona
Head out with your local guide and driver to discover the masterpieces of Catalonia,™s most famous architect, GaudÃ. See his Casa Mila with its wavelike façade and the impressive but unfinished Sagrada Familia Basilica, currently scheduled for completion in 2026. Visit the Parc Güell, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Gaudi,™s most colorful creations. This afternoon, explore the city’s medieval Gothic Quarter, including the magnificent 13th-century Cathedral, notable for its fine chapels, medieval choir stalls and shady cloister. At the Picasso Museum, view some of the painter,™s earliest works. Wander through the BoquerÃa Market, teeming with colorful fruits and vegetables, seafood and Iberian hams hanging in rows above the stalls. Sample as you go to experience the variety of flavors in Mediterranean cuisine.

Day 3: Montserrat
Embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of the shrine of the Black Virgin of Montserrat, located high in the peaks of the Serra de Montserrat. Visit the beautiful domed basilica and the museum, housing works by some old masters, including paintings by El Greco, regarded as the first of the Spanish School of Art, and Caravaggio.
