Grenoble

Grenoble, know as the “Capital of the Alps” is located at the foot of the Alps. Its a mid-sized city of almost a half a million people. This city has been here since 43 BC, and has a very interesting history. The Bastille is an ancient fort built above the city for protection in the Middle Ages. This is the most populat tourism spot, and has terrific views of Grenoble. There are good restaurants on the top.
