Le Havre

Le Havre is a coastal community located in the heart of the province of Normandy. This seaside port has a modern feel having been meticulously rebuilt after the Second World War. Those interested in art will want to visit the Muse Malrau which houses the second biggest collection of French Impressionist paintings. The Impressionist artist, Eugene Boudin’s museum is located just up the road in the charming village of Honfleur. Bring you camera as this village is quite scenic.

The Northwest coast of France is known for its long expanse of beach. In the summer months the beaches in La are packed with people playing volleyball, windsurfing and sunbathing. If you are looking an little escape from the city, head north the iconic cliffs of Etretat, where you can stretch your legs on one of the many well maintained hiking trails. Pack a picnic as you will want to enjoy the natural beauty of this area.
