Suva

Suva is Fiji’s main business center, and capital City with a population of about 200,000. Suva also has an airport that serves all of Fiji. Suva is built on a peninsula, and also has Suva Harbor. Suva has a rich multi-racial character with an interesting Victorian architechture. Fijian, Indian, Chinese and European cultures entwine here, and the cuisine repreents those cultures. There is a Fijian cultural center at Orchid Island where you can see Fiji’s flora and fauna. Thurston Gardens by the Presidents home and the museum are points of interest.
