Les Airelles in Courchevel is a mythical location in one of the most exclusive winter resorts in the world, and offers tailor-made services in order to ensure the utmost comfort to their guests. An enchanting setting created by architect Christophe Tollemer, Les Airelles was inspired by 19th Century Austro-Hungarian Empire chalets and castles. Since its renovation, which totalled some 57 million Euros, Les Airelles has been awarded 5 stars and luxury hotel status. The ski-in ski-out Maison offers a direct access to the “Trois Vallées”, the world’s largest ski domain.

Each area offers luxurious and sophisticated interior design, including tailor-made or chiné furniture and accents, as well as décor inspired by Italian and Austrian antique chalets. Interiors include hand-painted wooden panels by expert craftsmen from Florence, Frey and Rubelli fabrics, along with Dedar and Declerc soft furnishings and silks.

KIDS’ KINGDOM
Only in the novels of Anne Braillard (Bibliothèque Rose) and here at the Hôtel de Charme Les Airelles will you find that children are treated like little princes. You will hear nothing but cries of wonder and delight when they arrive to discover collectible soft toys, personalised games, not to mention the range of products exclusively for children by perfumer Blaise Mautin.
On the terrace, a vintage carousel offers rides at Christmas and New Year. The private skating rink, complete with its own chalet and two skating valets in period dress, is open all winter. Reality meets fairy tale once again.
Hearts beat fast when the children set eyes on the castle in the playroom, specially built to their scale. Enormous crochet stag heads adorn the walls of this 100 m2 space dedicated to fun. Thanks to a sprinkling of magic fairy dust, the list of delights is long: a multimedia area, latest generation video games, PlayStation, X-Box and Wii consoles, soft toys, wooden toys, dolls, cars, lorries, a cinema room with cartoon-style oversized sofas… Two marvellous nannies organise games, painting, cake-making and craft workshops, the only interruption being bursts of laughter at the arrival of a clown or magician. On the terrace of Le Jardin Alpin restaurant, presided over by friendly, willing staff, there are child-sized buffet tables with matching mini crockery…
In the spa swimming pool, an area is set aside for swimming lessons, competitions, and water polo matches organised by Les Airelles’ swimming instructor.
And of course, the constant entertainment comes into its own at Christmas! A huge fir tree stands in the reception hall next to the Prussian stove, and cleverly moving mechanical animals amuse visitors of all ages. On the morning of December 25th, children assemble for the arrival of Father Christmas’ horse-drawn carriage. In his sack? Nothing but personalised presents for everyone! “Les Airelles offers a hotel service that you won’t find anywhere else. GASTRONOMIC DELIGHT
Enjoy dinner at Pierre Gagnaire at Les Airelles
Pierre Gagnaire, the great chef from Rue Balzac in Paris, set up his flavour laboratory in Les Airelles and designed a signature menu for his two-Michelin star restaurant, Pierre Gagnaire pour les Airelles. With several grand cru wine cellars, the gastronomic restaurant is a place suspended in time. On the Louis-Philippe side tables sits glassware designed by Hermès. From the ceiling hangs a custom-made Saint Louis chandelier sculpted with wooden cupolas. Around the tables sit armchairs designed by Olivier Gagnère. This treasury of elegance and efinement is reserved for an intimate number of only twenty guests who will discover the magical alchemy of revisited traditional cuisine. In the large dining room, a dedicated waiting staff of 40, dressed in traditional Tyrolean costume, whirl between three areas of culinary delight, La Table du Jardin Alpin, Le Coin Savoyard, and Le Bar des Airelles.

In the grand room that opens out onto the newly enlarged and embellished terrace, a fire crackles in the earth of a Renaissance fireplace. The walls are a joyful riot of silver plate and Giens faience. The ceiling is covered in huge frescoes. The sideboards have received a makeover, giving la Table du Jardin Alpin a new sense of intimacy.
A dining room for around thirty people has been created behind the fireplace where traditional cuisine bourgeoise is served in generous amounts. The breakfast buffet, straight out of a Perrault fairytale, is a delight to behold : viennoiseries, including the famous Saint Genix praline brioche, pancakes, waffles ands eggs cooked to order, tarts, giant baskets of fruit, hot chocolate made in the old-fashioned way…And lunch and dinner are also served as a buffet, with deliciously temping rotisseries served on finely worked pedestal tables. The Chef and his team offer traditional and nouveau cuisine, with attention to the smallest detail marked by the seal of authenticity.

The Coin Savoyard: a genuine Carnotzet, a unique dinner destination
In the Coin Savoyard located at the back of the chalet, all manner of traditionnal regional Savoie cuisine is served : fondues, gratin dishes made with Beaufort cheese, tartiflettes and grilled meats on the fire, all made with the finest produce of our region.
A stay at les Airelles cannot be envisaged with the family regaling in a whit chocolate fondue in the convivial decor of an authentic Carnotzet.
THE BAR DES AIRELLES
Consisting of a refined smoking room and a whole series of cosy little salons, the Bar des Airelles invites you to enjoy a gourmet supper or intimate conversation set to the pure music of a grand piano. Elegance and chic abound here, a place famous for serving rare spirits, its unique ambiance, and regular end-of-week concerts. “Les Airelles has been adapted to the style of the day whilst conserving the original spirit instilled by Madame, and then by Mademoiselle” insists the first Maître d’Hôtel, Roger Boccia, proud of the twenty seasons he’s spent here. “We’re not there to serve, but to be pleasant and charming”, he adds.

WINTER SPORTS AT LES AIRELLES
In the “ski room”, ski valets wearing Alpine hunting uniform warm up gloves and boots before taking guests to meet ski instructors from the Courchevel French Ski School. A unique tailor-made service comprising waxing and skating valets, a groom, two ski men and a coachman dressed by the Arpin woollen mill…
A dedicated ski shop offers a connoisseur’s selection of clothing and of course, Les Airelles signature skis from AZ Atelier, the company run by Alain Zanco, specialising in designing skis that combine art and technology – made-to-measure skis that exude their authenticity through the scent of wood and varnish.

Terms & Conditions
Our reservation proposal is untransferrable to any other travel agency or client without agreement from Hotel Les Airelles. At all events, any reserved stay that is shortened or any meal not consumed by the fault of the client, regardless of the cause, will not be reimbursed. Any service not used will not be reimbursed. If the client does not arrive within 48 hours following the planned arrival date, the room(s) will be re-rented, and no compensation can be demanded by the client himself or the agency representing him. The price per night is understood to include half-board (continental breakfast or buffet breakfast and noon or evening meal). Meals not consumed are not subject to any deduction or reimbursement. The visitors’ tax must be paid in addition to the rates cited above or in our proposal letters.
