We invite you to the new Inn by the Sea, where luxury comes naturally.  A multi-million dollar makeover has elevated the Inn into Maine’s premier luxury beach destination.  We’ve added services and amenities, changing nearly everything except our warm and friendly staff.  We are eager to welcome you with an even more accommodating level of service, while continuing our environmentally sensitive and pet welcoming practices.  Come surround yourself with Maine’s natural beauty while we surround you with every creature comfort.  

Every guest room, suite and cottage at the Inn has been completely redesigned to surround you with warmth and comfort in a palette of deep red, cognac and charcoal, with maple furnishings and locally commissioned artwork. Large ocean view suites feature deluxe bathrooms with oversized showers or tubs, plush bathrobes, and luxurious bedding.  All rooms, suites and cottages have flat screen televisions, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards, hair dryers, executive desks, high speed Internet access, cordless telephones, i-Home alarm clocks and cable television.

Sea Glass, the new restaurant at Inn by the Sea, offers an unsurpassed Maine dining experience with spectacular ocean views from its intimate dining room or al fresco deck.  The freshest local ingredients form the basis of our authentic Maine menu featuring the finest examples of classic regional fare prepared with Chef Mitchell Kaldrovich’s international flare.  Sea Glass serves breakfast, lunch and dinner year-round and an all-day snack menu.  Hours vary by season.

The wine collection at Inn by the Sea features a vast and interesting list for the informed wine connoisseur and an understandable selection for those who simply enjoy wine. We have tried to eliminate the mystery of choosing the right wine by selecting magnificent wines that are well-priced and that pair admirably with our menu.

Inn by the Sea provides room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner (hours vary seasonally), along with pool side service, fresh gourmet take away picnic baskets, box lunches, and even a gourmet pet room service menu.

The brand new Spa at Inn by the Sea has six elegantly appointed treatment rooms and private spaces for men and women featuring relaxing steam and experience showers.  The Spa offers a full array of natural and maritime-inspired massages, facials and body treatments.  A room-for-two can be reserved for treatments with that special someone and men’s and women’s sanctuaries allow for quietrepose before and after spa services.  The spa was designed and built with eco-friendly materials and offers treatment products that specifically complement our reputation for environmental responsibility while offering natural chemical-free ingredients to promote wellness.

Inn by the Sea and the surrounding area is rich in scenic and recreational opportunities. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy a hundred outdoor activities like fishing, boating, sports of many kinds, and exploring nature.  Culture vultures will find music, theatre, museums and more just a few minutes away in Portland.  And for those whose vacation is not complete without some power shopping, Portland abounds with owner-operated shops, galleries and boutiques filled with fashions, supplies and objects d’art you simply won’t find elsewhere.  There is so much here, you may run out of time before you run out of things to do.
