Waihi Arts Center

The Waihi Arts Centre and Museum illustrates the history of the mine with photos, maps and models. The mine itself can be visited as part of a conducted tour. During the summer months, an added attraction is provided by the Goldfields Steam Train Society which runs a vintage railway between Waihi and Waikino.
