WHO WE ARE: Fairmont Heritage Place, Ghirardelli Square has been designed along the lines of a private residence. 53 residences (all suites, starting at 800 square-feet) ideally situated in the heart of San Francisco’s most popular tourist destination, in Ghirardelli Square. Overlooking the San Francisco Bay, Fairmont Heritage Place Ghirardelli Square is a bold illustration of contemporary urban design in a landmark setting.

What makes FAIRMONT HERITAGE PLACE, GHIRARDELLI SQUARE unique?

Opened in August 2008 as the only residential-style luxury hotel in San Francisco where guests are welcomed behind the facade of the original Ghirardelli Chocolate factory building, with the feeling of being in a private home. They are welcomed as if they were guests in a friend’s home with personalized and dedicated service, enjoying complimentary wine & cheese reception each evening in our Club Lounge, and taking in breathtaking bay views from our Mustard Terrace.

What to do in the vicinity? Fairmont Heritage Place, Ghirardelli Square is ideal for guests who enjoy a resort environment and respite from the hustle-and-bustle of the city. Located in the heart of Ghirardelli Square, Fairmont Heritage Place is only steps away from wonderful boutiques, close to many famed San Francisco restaurants and a short block away from the famous cable car, which takes guests to the crooked Lombard Street, the shops of Union Square and more. For further destinations, our chauffeurred luxury house-car (available on a first-come, first-serve basis) is accessible for drop-off and pick-up within a three mile radius. We also have BMW bikes for complimentary use during guests’ stay with us.

In-residence facilities and amenities: The luxurious and spacious residences all feature a full gourmet kitchen for entertaining, living room with fireplace, dining area and washer/dryer. All residences are furnished with the most up-to-date flat-screen TVs with DVD players in each bedroom.  Each bedroom features its own private bathroom en suite, and each living room features a queen sofabed sleeper.  Residences range from 800 – 2,000 square feet, and are distinguished between 1, 2 or 3-bedrooms as well as city or bay view.

Hotel services include escort to your residence, twice-daily housekeeping, turndown service, 24-hour concierge and butler service, complimentary wireless internet, complimentary business kiosks with faxing, printing and phone capabilities.  Guests enjoy continental breakfast daily in our Club Lounge as well as afternoon wine & cheese reception.
