What to Expect:
Eden Rock evolved from an imaginatively sited house built over fifty years ago by Remy De Haenen, a celebrated local adventurer. In 1995, the property was bought by an English couple, David & Jane Matthews, who intended, initially, to use it as a holiday home. However, a small bar was operating … which was kept running … one thing followed another … and five years later Eden Rock Hotel was invited to join the prestigeous Relais & Chateaux group of distinguished hotels.
