Bakersfield

Bakersfield is located in Central California at the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley and is the third largest city in inland California. It is about halfway between Lost Angeles and Fresno.

Bakersfield is known for its petroleum and farming industries, and is also known for the name its made in country music. There is a street named Buck Owens Boulevard. Buck Owens was a very popular country western singer and also has a nightclub, restaurant and museum named after him.

Bakersfield has many other attractions including 6 museums, a zoo, lots of parks and gardens, 3 amusement parks, a race track and a casino.
