An iconic collection of sumptuous suites

The Gritti Palace, famous for its exceptional 21 sumptuous suites, 8 of which will have incredible views of the Grand Canal. All suites will be designed by Chuck Chewning of Donghia and feature treasures such as hand blown Murano glass, archival historic fabrics, the finest Italian marbles, and rare books and objects. They will reflect the intimacy of a private residence, each a Venetian work of art in itself. Ten unique suites are inspired after famous past guests such as Hemingway, Somerset Maugham, Ruskin, and Peggy Guggenheim, after art and cultural institutions such as Punta della Dogana, La Fenice, and by traditional festivities such as the Redentore Suite, whose one-of-a-kind 250 sqm rooftop terrace affords views of the Grand Canal, the Giudecca island and southern lagoon.
