You are met on arrival in Stockholm and privately transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Stockholm
This morning, meet your guide for a full day of sightseeing in Stockholm. Begin your tour in Gamla Stan, the quaint Old Town with its fine palaces and churches, set against a backdrop of the sparkling harbor. Visit the Blue Hall in City Hall, the venue for the Nobel prizewinner,™s dinner. In the Royal Palace, admire the State Apartments and the Crown Jewels in the Treasury, as well as the National Museum which houses a collection of thousands of paintings including several masterpieces. After lunch at leisure, travel to the island of DjurgÃ¥rden where you visit the 300-year old Vasa warship, the largest battleship of its kind when built in 1628. Wander around Skansen, the world,™s first open-air museum. It gives insight into the life and culture of Sweden,™s various regions. More than 150 old buildings and other structures have been collected from all over Sweden and filled with traditional handicrafts and antique household items.

Day 3: Stockholm/Drottningholm/Stockholm
Travel across the archipelago by public steamboat cruiser to enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour to the 17th-century Drottningholm Palace (Queen,™s Island Castle), which is now home to the Swedish royal family. Stop to see the 18th-century Court Theater in the beautiful grounds of the palace. Return to Stockholm by private vehicle. This afternoon is at leisure to shop and explore on your own.
