Departs: Year Round DAYS 1 & 2 Kalahari Desert, Botswana You safari starts as your flight lands at Maun International Airport in Maun, Botswana. When you arrive, meet your driver in the arrivals area. He will be waiting holding a sign with your names on it. You will be transferred to the Kalahari Desert where you stay at Planet Baobab for two nights of Meercat Mania. Arrive at the Planet Baobab in the Kalahari Desert, the baobab capital of the world! A traditionally styled mud Kalanga and Bushmen grass hut village shaded by giant baobab trees whose average age is 4,000 years old! Planet Baobab Includes: All meals, drinks (except premiums), & scheduled activities DAYS 3 5 Okavango Delta, Botswana Today after spending two great days exploring the desert, you will transfer back to the Maun Airport to meet your light aircraft transfer to the Okavango Delta. On arrival, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to Little Vumbura Camp. A luxury six-tented camp set in the magnificent Okavango Delta where guests have diverse safari experiences including game drives, mokoro rides, and walking safaris. Little Vumbura Includes: All meals, drinks (except premiums), laundry & safari activities DAYS 6 & 7 Livingstone, Zambia This morning you will have time for a final safari activity before taking your light aircraft transfer further north to Kasane Airport in Botswana. When you land, your driver will be waiting for you. You will be transferred across the border to Livingstone, Zambia via a scenic two hour road and boat transfer. When you arrive in Livingstone, your driver will take you to Zambezi Sun. On the banks of the Upper Zambezi River, The Zambezi Sun is a great spot to explore the Victoria Falls area. Take a micro-lite flight, go whitewater rafting on the river, or go golfing where baboon and warthog have free run of the fairways. Zambezi Sun Includes: Bed & breakfast DAY 8 Johannesburg, South Africa You have time for a final stroll near Victoria Falls this morning. After breakfast and checkout procedures, your driver will collect you from your hotel. You will be transferred to Livingstone Intl Airport to meet your scheduled flight to Johannesburg, South Africa. When you arrive in Johannesburg, exit out of the airport terminal to take the complimentary shuttle bus to your hotel. The Southern Sun Johannesburg International Hotel is a mere 500 meters from South Africa’s busiest airport and is the hub for the business traveler, offering a range of services and facilities. Southern Sun OR Tambo International Includes: Bed & breakfast DAYS 9 11 KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa This morning, take the shuttle bus back to the airport terminal to meet your scheduled morning flight to Richards Bay. When you arrive meet your Rocktail driver for your scenic three hour road transfer to Rocktail Beach Camp on the KwaZulu-Natal coast. Shaded by the sanctuary of the lush coastal forest, Rocktail Beach Camp is ideal for any traveler looking for that next adventure. Consisting of 17 room chalets, with views of the ocean, Rocktail Beach Camp is just offshore the Maputaland Marine Reserve which provides a sanctuary for its marines life and spectacular coral landscape. Rocktail Beach Camp Includes: All meals, drinks (except premiums), & activities DAY 12 Depart After three days exploring and learning about the turtles at Rocktail Beach Camp, you will take the scenic transfer back to Richards Bay Airport to meet your scheduled flight back to Johannesburg.
