Haryana

Haryana is a state in the north central section of India and its Capital City is Chandigarh. This area is rich in agricultural grain production, dairy farms and automobile and tractor manufacturing.

The Yamuna River runs through the east side of the state. There are seasonal rivers and streams that come in the monsoon season that bring water from the Himalayas.

The weather here is unusually hot in the summer and cold in the winters.

This is a culturally rich region with lots of local traditions and celebrations. Folk dancing is very popular here and the locals enjoy participating.
