National Geographic Endeavour
The Experience
National Geographic Endeavour is a tried and true expedition ship a vessel with real soul. Before being based in Galápagos year-round, Endeavour voyaged from pole-to-pole, crushing through the Antarctic ice in the Southern Ocean and tracking polar bears of the High Arctic. While she has made the transition to equatorial life smoothly, you,™ll sense her heritage and world-class expedition ship character during your warm water adventure.
Endeavour accommodates 96 guests in 56 outside cabins, including two suites. At 295 feet, she is an expansive ship and offers extensive open deck space where the entire expedition community can gather for spontaneous whale watching, if any passing cetaceans are spotted, or cocktails at sunset, with everyone sharing in the experience.
Her public spaces are gracious and comfortable, with a dining room that easily accommodates all guests at once for a single seating, and a large lounge that is the heart of the expedition community where we gather each evening for an expedition tradition called Recap. Life aboard is casual in every respect. There is no need for formal clothing, although you are welcome to bring casually festive attire for the fun of it. And you,™ll find shipboard services like laundry make packing and traveling more convenient.
A true expedition ship, Endeavour is equipped with cool tools for exploration that help you experience the full range of wildness in Galápagos. Explore the deep undersea with our ROV, poke into waterline caves aboard a kayak, snorkel among vibrant sea gardens with playful sea lions, and much more.
