La Gomera
La Gomera Island is one of the seven Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off Africa and is part of Spain. Because of the high elevation the top half of the island is heavily forested and moist. In the middle elevation is a lush jungle with beautiful plants and flowers. At sea level it has a very warm and dry climate.
There are about 20,000 inhabitants on this island, besides being friendly and outgoing they have a unique way of communicating by whistling. This for of speech is actually taught in school here.
This is an interesting place with loads of cultural attractions, good food and fun places to visit.
La Palma Island is located on the northwest end of the Canary Islands Archepeligo, with Santa Cruz de la Palma as the capital city. This island has towering mountains formed by volcanic eruptions in the distant past. This island is an important tourism destination with lots of different attractions to excite vacationers.
