Kapaa Coastal Walk

Kapa`a Coastal Walk begins at the north end of Kapa`a town off Kuhio Highway 56 opposite Haua`ala Road near the Kapa`a Jodo Mission Church. Near the roadside parking area, there is an old roadway which meanders along the coastline. The old roadway rises along the ocean ridge with trails leading off to the beach below. There is a ridge overlook at about one mile with nice coastal and beach views. This is an easy two-mile round-trip, one-hour hike. Ocean breezes and sun can be strong at mid-day here. –
