The Taj Lake Palace

A marble fantasy that floats magically on the still blue waters of Lake Pichola. The hotel has 83 centrally air-conditioned rooms including 17 suites, some of which are breathtakingly beautiful. Palace Room:  – Apart from the services and facility provided in the Luxury rooms, these rooms are more spacious offering a classical feel with its high ceilings and rich décor with floral artwork.  The guest has a choice of king-size bed and Twin beds, rooms facing the lake, the City Palace and the ancient summer retreat palace.

Royal Suite:  – The Suites at the Taj Lake Palace rediscovers the traditional and a feel of living in royalty and distinctively define the Palace. Divinely designed in an elegant structure and perfectly select detailed interior. Stunning traditional art resides in this luxurious oasis. With almost 25% more space than usual, you will find more room for inspiration. Panoramic views uplift the senses, even from the bathrooms. Royal Suites are graced with traditional décor, impeccable interiors and stained glass windows. They offer all guest amenities along with separate sit-outs with stunning views of the lake, Jagmandir or Aravali Hills. The Royal Suites have individual characteristics in the design, fabric and décor details but retain the delicate fresco paintings on the wall panels, the decorative plaster wall niches and the antique finish wooden fans similar as in the other palace rooms.

The Presidential Suite (Shambhu Prakash):  – The Suite exceeds the expectations of its guests while redefining and renewing the tradition elegance of the city’s finest heritage hotel. The Suite’s style was influenced by a variety themes reflecting Mewar’s diverse artistry of ethnic cultures. The Shambhu Prakash suite furnished in impressive, opulent strokes and graced with high curved arches, exudes grandeur with a European touch. The suite opens to a comfortable and elegantly appointed library with a luxury wood finish panel adorned with select literary works and hand picked artifacts. An adjoining balcony offers unrivalled views of perhaps the best sunset by the lake side in the world.

Jharokha: – The informal all-day dining restaurant with its scalloped arches frame overlooking the serene waters of Lake Pichola offers a vibrant array of delicacies from all over the world. Enjoy a contemporary styled world cuisine with Asian and Mediterranean overtones. Soothing views of the lake and the City Palace add much to the restful ambience. Signature breakfast dishes include the Lake Palace Eggs Benedict and signature French Press Coffee.

Neel Kamal: – This Indian Speciality restaurant overlooking the Lily Pond bears a décor reminiscent of royal banquet halls. Elegant crockery and crystal complement the rich upholstery and gilt embellished arches. The restaurant serves a delectable selection of local ‘Rajasthani’ fare, and other Indian favorites. Classical Indian instrumental music sets the mood for romantic, inspired dining at this luxurious restaurant. Wood-fired cooking and a show kitchen add to the intensity of the atmosphere. Signature features include a large selection of local Rajasthani specialties and an extensive selection of fine wines from around the world.

Bhairo: – Nestled at the rooftop, this open air restaurant offers a scintillating view of the beautifully lit Palace of the King of Mewar and the sparkling waters of Lake Pichola. Treat your senses to mouthwatering delicacies from contemporary western cuisine prepared by our master chefs.
