Just opened after a two year transformation, this Spanish mission-style urban oasis wins a never-ending stream of praise for its faultless service, luxurious accommodations, and magical ambiance.

All newly renovated rooms and suites feature a new generation of design aesthetic and is reflected through different design themes from the glamorous decades of the 1930s, 40s and 50s conveyed in a fresh, youthful and elegant manner. The famous restaurant, bar, catering and in-room dining services are managed by world-renowned Master Chef Wolfgang Puck with a menu featuring modern California cuisine with European and Mediterranean influences in a spectacular garden setting.

The incredible interior design of Hotel Bel-Air was inspired by 1930s, 1940s and 1950s Hollywood, a period of Southern Californian residential architecture and design that produced an all American style evoking glamour and graceful living with international flair.

The Bel-Air’s design has always mixed the influences of Spanish colonial, layered with the smooth finishes and graceful shapes of French Deco, the last word in fashion of the time. The style that emerged was young, fun, fresh and elegant. Stone floors in limestone and polished marble, smooth, pale plaster walls, natural wood ceilings and rich finishes and textures with bold strokes of color in furnishings were melded to create a confident style that complements the glorious garden atmosphere

Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air features modern California cuisine with European and Mediterranean influences in a spectacular garden setting. All menus reflect the healthy California lifestyle and showcase the best of California’s wonderful fresh ingredients. Our chefs visit the farmer’s market every week and select the freshest, most seasonal items to utilize in our menus. Dine in the elegant dining room, on the alfresco terrace, or in the bar and lounge.

Spa
Hotel Bel-Air’s 12 acres of gardens have created a peaceful environment for health and wellness for over 65 years. Our Forbes Five Star Awarded Spa by La Prairie features seven treatment rooms, including a couples enclave with private patio, a mosaic steam, and comfortably chic relaxation areas. A new state-of-the-art fitness studio is adjacent to the spa.
