Harking back to the days of the Hawaii Calls radio program, which was broadcast from the Moana Surfrider for 40 years, the hotel hosts a concert in the open-air Banyan Court every second Thursday of each month. Featured artists include Holunape, Pali, Makana, Marlene Sai – one of Hawaii’s most well-known entertainers, and Raiatea Helm – the 18-year-old singing sensation. There is no admission charge; appetizers and cocktails will be available for purchase. Or, reservations can be made for a sunset dinner on the Banyan Veranda overlooking the courtyard. Rooted in an era of steamships and Martin Denny music, the oceanfront Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort and Spa in central Waikiki offers afternoon tea, oceanfront dining with Hawaiian entertainment, and a sundeck and swimming pool under a banyan tree. The resort offers a complimentary guided historic tour three times a week. The hotel provides 24-hour airport shuttle service, by request (surcharge).

Wireless Internet access is available in public areas (surcharge). Signing privileges for dining, entertainment, and facilities (except pools) are allowed at three other Sheraton hotels in Waikiki. The adjacent Sheraton Waikiki, for example, offers a fitness center, a children’s program (ages 5-12), and a business center at (surcharges).
