Jesse and I got back from Tahiti several days ago and we wanted to thank you for booking such a wonderful honeymoon for us!!! We had the best time; it was beautiful and everything we wanted. Thank you for recommending The Sofitel – it is a wonderful place to stay! We only wish that we had done the over-water bungalow one more night since those rooms are so much nicer but 2 nights was great. It was an excellent idea to split up our nights between a garden bungalow and the over-water. We would never have thought to do that but it worked out really well. We did all of the excursions while in the garden bungalow and then completely relaxed the last 2 days in our over-water bungalow. It also gave us something to look forward to at the end of the trip. In addition, we were very glad that you didn’t buy us meal plans because there are several places to eat within walking distance of the Sofitel. There is one restaurant that is a 5-minute walk from the hotel called La Bounty where we ate about half our meals! They had an excellent lunch and dinner menu. We ate at Bloody Mary’s one night too which was fun but we actually preferred La Bounty and all the other cute restaurants we ate at. Our trip would not have been the same experience if we had eaten all of our meals at the Sofitel. It was nice to eat outside the hotel, to get more of a feel for the place, and to have the opportunity to interact with people who live in Bora Bora. We did the shark and ray feeding excursion as you suggestd and we also did the sunset catamaran cruise – both of which were truly amazing experiences. Thank you so much for booking this absolutely perfect trip for us! It was the best honeymoon we could have imagined and we are already talking about going back sometime…maybe for our 5th or 10th anniversary. And, of course, if we do go back sometime, we’ll definitely book the trip through you. =)
