Days 1-2 Explore historic Santa Fe, learning about its rich multicultural influences and noteworthy architecture, including the Santa Fe Plaza and San Miguel Mission, reputedly the oldest church in the United States A favorite local trail offers an introduction to the region’s ruggedly beautiful landscape Hike an ancient route to cliff dwellings in Bandelier National Monument It’s easy to imagine an Ancestral Pueblo community thriving amid the sculpted volcanic tuff of Frijoles Canyon. Day 3 Ghost Ranch: art history set amid a gorgeous red-rock landscape Discover the striking scenery made famous in Georgia O’Keeffe’s paintings There’s time to relax at Ojo Caliente, where you can visit the resort’s award-winning spa or rejuvenate in the only hot springs in the world with four kinds of geothermal mineral water.
