You’ll be surprised to see how many world class museums there are, like the Dallas Museum Of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Meadow Museum At Southern Methodist University, the Crow Collection of Asian Art, and Fair Park.

Fair Park is the biggest cultural center in Dallas, established in 1880 with 300 acres of exhibit facilities, museums and park areas. There is some beautiful Art Deco architecture and eight wonderful museums featuring science and nature, an African American Museum, the Woman’s Museum and much more. Fair Park hosts a huge variety of annual public events, including the biggest State Fair in the nation, the Dallas Summer Musicals and the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic football game.

Dallas is great fun for families too! There are numerous fun family options to choose from, like Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor which is right next to each other. The tallest and hottest, most thrilling ride in the world, the Superman Tower of Power which rockets riders way up in the sky then turbo powers them back down again is awaiting the adventures.

The Speed Zone Dallas is a great place to try your hand driving a real dragster or racing around the track, plus there’s a 36 hole golf course for the golfer’s to enjoy.

Dallas is probably the last place you expect to find a wonderful aquarium, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised to discover the aquatic life from four continents displayed. There are manatees, monkeys, penguins, piranhas, exotic plants and creatures from the South American Rain Forests and Zoological Gardens.

The Dallas Zoo is the biggest in Texas with a huge variety of animals and fascinating programs. Don’t miss this family oriented zoo.
